- 1.0 ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
1.1 – The following terms and conditions govern the use of ThermoBid‘s World Wide Web pages.
1.2 – ThermoBid allows the use or sharing of material/content from our website (excluding Section 2.1) without alteration through any known or later discovered media.
1.3 – Updates to the terms and conditions may occur, and the most current version always applies.
1.4 – By using our website or its content, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes, you legally enter into a binding agreement with our terms and conditions.
1.5 – If you wish to terminate or avoid agreeing to our terms and conditions, please refrain from using our website or its content directly or indirectly.
1.6 – Initially, all credit card funds are authorized. We capture the funds when the item is shipped, completing the transaction. However, for shipping dates exceeding 30 days or longer, funds will be fully processed and captured within 25 days of the initial purchase. Credit card authorization amounts expire within 30 days from the initial authorization date.
1.7 – No refunds will be issued, but in rare cases, we may provide credit toward a future purchase. Transportation expenses are non-refundable and not eligible for credit. No exemptions apply.
1.8 – Damages, returns, or incorrect items must be reported within five business days from the delivery date, either at our CDW or your Ship-To Address, whichever occurs first.
- 2.0 DISCLAIMER/LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
2.1 – Under no circumstances and no legal theory, including negligence, contract, or otherwise, shall ThermoBid, its employees, and agents be liable for any errors, omissions, accuracy, quality, timeliness, availability, or completeness of the information, software, products, or other materials available through our site. We provide all content on an “as is, as available” basis and do not warrant or represent that the information is accurate, reliable, or that the site will be free of errors or viruses. We also do not warrant that any form of loss or damage, including consequential, indirect, incidental, special, or exemplary damages (even if known to us), may result. We expressly disclaim all warranties; no warranty not outlined in this agreement will be valid. If any of the above provisions are void under governing law, our liability shall be limited to the extent permitted by law.
- 3.0 GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
3.1 – Operating Hours: ThermoBid‘s Customer Service operates Monday through Friday, from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm, Central Time (USA).
3.2 – Placing Orders: Orders placed via telephone or electronic distribution mechanisms are processed promptly. While electronic distribution mechanisms provide a secure gateway, they may lack certain processing information.
3.3 – Canceling Orders: Orders can only be canceled within 24 hours from the time of placement. No exceptions apply.
3.4 – Returning Orders: Service parts are non-returnable. All returns must be made within the authorized time frame (refer to section 1.8 above), accompanied by an approved return authorization form, and returned in their original packaging. A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns, and both outbound and return freight charges are non-refundable. The manufacturer is responsible for arranging the pickup of the product using their transportation team unless the product was shipped to our CDW, in which case you must return it before the manufacturer picks it up.
3.5 – Damaged Goods: Claims for orders containing damaged items must be reported within the authorized time frame (refer to section 1.8 above) and should be directed to us only if we handled the shipping method. If the carton was damaged, please indicate so and retain the packing material and carton for inspection. For shipments within the United States, we will determine whether Thermo Scientific will send a replacement or replace the item. If the claim is made after five business days, the warranty (if applicable) will apply. For international shipments, our freight forwarder ensures all freight unless otherwise requested by you. If you use your carrier, all responsibility and obligation for damaged goods lie with them, not us.
3.6 – Incorrect Items: Returns are accepted only in cases where the shipped item is incorrect and reported within the authorized time frame (refer to section 1.8 above). The manufacturer will resolve the issue by picking up the incorrect product and delivering the correct item.
3.7 – Shipping Methods & Costs: Within the Contiguous U.S., the manufacturer primarily uses standard ground and LTL freight truck services. We select the most economical and safe shipping method with separate billing. Additional shipping options are available, but they may incur extra charges. 3.8 – Customs: When ordering from ThermoBid, you may be subject to import duties and taxes upon the shipment’s arrival in your country. You are responsible for paying any additional charges for customs clearance, as we have no control over these fees. Customs policies vary from country to country, so it’s advisable to contact your local customs office for further information. As the importer of record, you must comply with all laws and regulations of the country where you receive the goods.
3.9 – Sales Tax: Sales tax is applied to all orders within the Continental U.S. and U.S. Territories unless you provide a valid Sales Tax Certificate.
